02:55 PM ET 09.02 | Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller has been going through a lengthy recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered at the end of last season, but it looks like the team's No. 1 tight end could be returning in a matter of weeks. While Miller is not ready to start in the season-opener for the team, the Steelers expect to see him back on the field in a rough timetable of a month.

Another player coming back from a torn knee within a year.

I wonder what Gayle Sayers would've done with today's medicine and rehab. Might have left Emmitt looking up.

Stupid Bears (at the time) had Sayers running back punts and kickoffs.

Set a record because of returns.

A different time, though. Nowadays he would even know who the special teams coach looked like, much less play on them.

Sayers was a Great Running Back who was relentless! Who knows how many records he might have shattered if healthy!

He's getting old and banged up. Gotta wonder whether he can stay healthy even if he does return.
