07:26 AM ET 09.03 | If Nick Marshall proved anything in his first start, it's that he can manage Auburn's hurry-up, no-huddle offense. Now the Tigers need Marshall to start making the big play. After a chance to watch the film of Auburn's 31-24 win over Washington State, offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee came away impressed. ... Teammates raved about Marshall's big-play ability during training camp. Now that he's proven he can take care of the football, Auburn needs its quarterback and receivers to take advantage of the golden opportunities the Tigers missed Saturday. "Those opportunities that we have to capitalize on, once we get those fixed, he's going to be a lot more relaxed back there," tight end C.J. Uzomah said. "That's when the real show's going to happen, I think."

They need a win on the board before they go 0-fer the conference again.

They'll win 8 games this year......mark it down.

Open "it" up. Don't you get pregnant when you do that?

Not if you also open up a Trogan in the process.

Well, thanks for the vote of confidene, WPS. I'm not sure about 8. Maybe 7. Considering Marshall has been with the team for all of fou week and his big knock against him was INTs,
I think he did okay Saturday. Receivers dropped two big passes. Gotta fix that.

So we finally will know the truth about $Cam Newton?

Politically incorrect. They gave it up for Lent.

Good point and a "Terrible" Washington State offense ripped Auburn's tough SEC defense for over 450 total yards!!! If it were Malzahn, I would worry about my defense first, then work on my offense!!!

Don't give me too much props....I still hate Aubie! :-)

I do believe in Malzahn, though. I also think this team had more talent than they showed last year, and the players were recruited to run this system, not that gawd-awful mess they played last year.

Call it a hunch, but I think Malzahn pulls off the turn-around of the year in the SEC and wins 8.

Of course, if I am wrong, I'm sure none of my friends on FN will ever remember this or give me a hard time about it.

Nope. You get a pass on this one cuz it isn't a "homer one". You didn't say it about your pig aggies so no one can rag you if wrong.

Really?? Auburn will win 8 games this year??? IMO, they will be lucky to win 6 games with that defense!!

Ole Miss. I still say that this is the trap game for Bama. After watching Bama's o-line this week I say that the Ole Miss D has a great game that week. I hope I am wrong but I have a hunch. Aubie will give some fits and will not be horrible like last year. I think they get some respect and get to 8 wins and a decent bowl. I think you would have been better to ask more wins Aubie or TN?

Thank you. I'm not saying Auburn has a terrible team. I'm saying, IMO Auburn will be very lucky to go 6-6 this season.
