Kadri standoff to overshadow Toronto's preseason?

07:34 AM ET 09.04 | Randy Carlyle is set to open his first full preseason in Toronto, and the question has become whether Nazem Kadri will be there at its start. [Team management] made it clear that missing training camp because of a contract holdout won't come without a price -- arguably for both player and team. "We believe it's a fair offer," Leafs vice-president of hockey operations Dave Poulin said of what general manager Dave Nonis currently has on the table. ... [If] there is any doubt that Kadri has become frustrated with the process, he dispelled it while waiting to hit the links with the same teammates he hopes to hit the ice with soon. "It's definitely pretty unfair," Kadri said of some of the public sentiment that suggests he shut up and sign.

It may just be his agents, but I fear that Kadri is still fighting the maturity bug....

Not the end of the world if TOR trades him. How about Kadri and Dion for Tavares and a First?

I don't think he's serious enough. Plus, there's a rumor floating around that he might take a nip or three during working hours?

Hahahahah. I think the answer would be an affirmative, "NO"! Even if you threw in Elisha C.
