07:13 AM ET 09.05 | Though Warriors All-Star forward David Lee may look as if he's in midseason form, he's not all that far removed from a difficult finding. [Lee] said his hip surgery in May revealed his injury was worse than previously thought. But he reports being 100 percent recovered and in the best shape of his career. "I feel no ill effects whatsoever," Lee said after working out at the team's downtown facility. ... The initial medical opinions were that Lee didn't need surgery. After multiple opinions, he decided to go under the knife. "When they went in," Lee said, "it was a situation where they were like, 'Yes, you absolutely needed surgery.' This wasn't a gray area. The muscle was completely torn off the bone and frayed."

David Lee is a "Warrior"... Pun intended!! For him to have come back for the play-offs to play after such an injury shows how tough this kid is...

I always bemoan the fact that the Knicks traded Lee. He was my favorite Knicks during his time here and I absolutely think he could have flourished in this offense.

The real question can Curry and Bogut stay healthy.
Lee is like the ground hog day. He'll do his thing.

Bogus is never healthy. With the addition of AI they may get to the conference finals.....but only if either OKC and San Antonio go down.

The injury may have been bad, but the Warriors took good care of him, and now he's good to go. It's going to be a great season. It's Wonderful in Warriorland !!

Talk to Bogut first before getting too excited :-)

Damn ( can I say that?). Dave Lee has been one of the truly decent ball players to come along in a long time. Wish him a FULL recover and a BRIGHT future. The Warriors' loss might be someone else's gain!
