07:16 AM ET 09.05 | Lumbering Lucas Duda went 3-for-5 Wednesday with a home run, a double and a single Wednesday, which left him shy of an unlikely feat. When he was asked if he ever thought about going for the triple to hit for the cycle, the normally stoic Duda laughed. "The outfielder would have to fall down and get up and fall down again," Duda said with a smile. ... One thing Duda was not joking about Wednesday was where he fits after spending two years trying to figure out playing the outfield in a failed Mets experiment. Duda knows that the organization is looking at him down the stretch to see if his future is with the Mets. Sandy Alderson said publicly Tuesday that the Mets would use the last three and a half weeks, with Ike Davis out with an oblique strain, to evaluate Duda at first.

QUOTE(#1):

Uncanny how much better he plays when he's at 1st base

Its not that he's better. Its that Davis is so bad. Kind of like a good looking chick who just lays there. At least she's better than a chick who turns out to be a dude.
