Leyland can't answer when Cabrera will play

07:19 AM ET 09.05 | The ERAs of some Tigers pitchers took a hit Wednesday night in Boston, but it's slugger Miguel Cabrera who has many fans concerned. [Cabrera] has become a difficult read. He didn't seem to favor anything during or after his return to the lineup on Tuesday night from a three-game injury absence And he appeared to be in a good mood on Wednesday, joking around with his teammates in the Tigers' clubhouse. But Cabrera was out of the lineup again on Wednesday night against the Boston Red Sox -- with manager Jim Leyland saying about Cabrera's lingering groin-area discomfort, "it's sore today, that's all I can tell you. I can't answer when he's going to play." With that and an assortment of other earlier problems, Cabrera has started just 30 of the Tigers' last 42 games.

Might be psychically breaking down from the PED use

Word... Testing is probably daily at this point of his 2nd triple crown chase.

I'm sorry, but I can't resist - "psychically"..... his seeing into the future vision and spiritualism gifts are not working either.

A valid answer from Leyland could be;

"When will Cabrera play again"

"Eventually"......

It wouldn't have mattered if he were in the lineup last night.

I figured - it was just too funny to pass up....

It's really hurting my fantasy lineup with him sitting. That should be the priority here......

People ask why I hate new York and have no use for people from new York. It's comments like this that make me turn my back on the new York teams and people for new York. A very classless statement.

They need to sit Miggy down for a week. They need him healthy for the playoffs.

Even Barry Sanders could not even help the TIGERS last night. I love my TIGERS but I also love the BOSOX. For Miggy he was hurting along time and he was better than that bottom feeder trout. For thoughts that say he doing peds he's not a cheater, like that SCUM BALL A-butt how plays for the yankees.

Pele or Rocky Marciano might have helped though. Maybe Dale Earnhardt as well. Not complaining, but Barry Sanders would have quit the game by the 4th inning.

Pele kicks the ball to Rocky, Rocky smacks the ball with his fist, Dale catches it on the fly, doing donuts around home plate to prevent the score ... Sanders is sacked for 20 yard loss at 2nd base ...
