08:12 AM ET 09.07 | Hall of Famer Brett Hull is reportedly set to rejoin the St. Louis Blues after 15 years away from the organization. According to multiple reports, Hull will be introduced as vice president of the club as early as next week. The franchise's leading goal scorer, the 49-year-old Hull played 11 seasons with the Blues. He ranks first in regular-season goals (527), playoff goals (67), playoff points (117), regular-season hat-tricks (27) and playoff games (102).

The only surprising thing is that this hasn't happened earlier. After all he's had a foot in the door for years.

Only question is: Did he learn anything from the Dallas Stars fiasco or since? If he's starts lobbying to get Sean Avery signed right away, you know he hasn't.
