08:38 AM ET 09.07 | With him changing to Jay Z as his representation, speculation has grown a little that in 2016 when Kevin Durant is an unrestricted free agent, he may bolt Oklahoma City for a bigger market. And during a Nike sponsored Tour de Durant in France, KD did a Q&A session with some fans and was asked right up front if he has any plans of leaving the Thunder. "I like where I'm at right now. I enjoy playing for OKC," he said. "As of today, I love it there, man. I want to be there. I love the fans, I love my team, I love everything about the city. I don't have any plans to move." As of today. Here's the reality, though: 2016 is a ways away. A lot can change. A lot can happen. And if the Thunder have taken steps back or aren't putting a product on the floor that can compete for championships, Durant may want to leave.

That might be reality. His window in OKC is closing.

He'll stay w/ OKC. There's too much Dirk and Timmy in him.

"I enjoy Cleveland and want to bring a championship here" - Lebron, pre 2010.

"I love ORL, the city, the team and the people" - Dwight howard 2011.

"I love OKC and want to be here" - kD now

QUOTE(#7):

oh, I disagree....I don't necessarily think he wants out....but I think he's more in tune with whats out there than dirk or timmyand the proof is in the volume of commercials he does.I have never seen a dirk or timmy (national) commercial

Just proves that he does not need to go out of OKC to have many commercials. Being humble and loyal is what puts Timmy, Dirk, and KD in the same class. All 3 built the city that they're playing on.

I hope you are right...if there is anyone that can bring some character, leadership and respect to this league like Timmy and Dirk did the last 15 or so years its Durant and maybe Rose.

oh you forgot one...

If you dont trade Shaq I am gone - Kobe circa summer of 2004

QUOTE(#10):

And so far- OKC management seems more concerned with staying within a budget. That's great for ownership and possibly the long term viability of the franchise, but it isn't good for the player.

Spurs have been winning and staying within budget for decades now.

QUOTE(#12):

for sure-I don't think KD anysered the question poorly-he just shouldn't have said 'as of today'but I think some of these kids today aren't truly aware that life exists outside their own realities as when you hear guys talk, they always end their sentence with " you know what I'm sayin "YES- we know what you are saying.you don't have to ask whether we do or notits a generational thing today where most kids are extremely self-centered/self-oriented and don't understand that life existed before them

Interesting, jgb. I've never given that more of a thought than a facial tick, know what I'm sayin? Or something that someone would say ironically. But you are likely onto something about the meaning for the generation that uses it.
