05:03 PM ET 09.07 | Jacoby Ellsbury's foot injury may be a lot worse than initially expected. The injury occurred during the Aug. 28 game when Ellsbury fouled a ball off his foot. The center fielder has returned to Boston to have an MRI and several other tests. Ellsbury has played in seven of the Red Sox's last eight games, but sat out last night's come-from-behind victory over the Yankees that saw Boston score nine runs combined in the seventh and eighth innings. Ellsbury has been in a walking boot to help protect the injured foot. Jackie Bradley Jr. has been called-up from the minors to help in the meantime, and is starting in center field Saturday against the Yankees. Bradley has hit just .155 in 66 plate appearances this season.

QUOTE(#1):

Oh my. That is not what I want to hear.

Me neither. Ellsbury and Allen Craig have been two of the keys to my fantasy roster, and now they are both out with foot injuries.
