White Sox done with Uribe?
Juan Uribe has lost his shortstop job, but White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen emphasized that Uribe played third and second when he joined the Sox in 2004. Guillen and general manager Ken Williams admitted that keeping Uribe focused will be challenging. But it might be best for all parties to trade Uribe, considering the Sox renegotiated his salary from a scheduled $5 million to $4.5 million less than two weeks before acquiring Orlando Cabrera to take his place at short.

Jealous? That's rich! Coming from the fan of a club that isn't even respected in it home city, a team so old they are selling advert space for Rogaine and fiber suppliments, AND a team fighting for dominace of AL Central cellar dweller with the Royals... Don't talk to me if you can't remember how we've owned your squad since that 2005 "deries..." That win so in the past you can't even spell it anymore?

tgr4life, you usually have some fairly intelligent comments but as of late you're bordering on internet troll. We get it, you like the Tigers, good on ya. Now move along.
By the way, you spelled squad wrong in your original comment.

Or I am just making it up to cover my butt... Regardless, the Tribe will be more than dominate as well, a younger core than the tigs and a less questionible rotation and pen... The Twinkees don't have Johan but sill still have the opportunity to suprise. Really not much I see for the ChiSux... And I spelled it that way on purpose...

Last 3 years the White sox have owned the Tigers. I'm not saying the Sox are the best team in baseball.....but get you facts right before you make a fool of yourself on this board. Also, if the "tigs" are going to compete this the they better go get some relief pitchers....their starters are going to have to go 7+ every game. Coe playoff time they'll all be spend.....and the "tigs" will wind up giving the central to the Tribe.

...and the Sox will take the AL Wild Card!!
I can hope, can't I?

Maybe not the wild card, but I contend that Minnesota is not a great deal better than us, if at all. The white sox are 3rd place at best, this year. We are not a great team, but we are not a TERRIBLE one anyways.

It's A FACT that A FACT has opinions based around his admiration of the Chicago National Ball Club.
It is A FACT that you can't back up your opinions without reason.
If so, may I say that Fukudome will be aboused by the bleacher bums come July? (Oh my, guess I just did.) How is Hendry getting all the cash with Sam Zell parading the Cubs on the selling block? WHY? He's a good salesman, but there better be results, or Zell will say bye-bye to Hendry. Not A FACT, but an accurate view.
Re: Uribe...time for him to move on. We have seen the best of him. He will whine if he isn't starting at 2nd, but he hasn't had strong spring training for years.

Churros, A FACT is a tigers fan. And no offense, but why the hell does every Sox fan feel the need to evoke the cubs in any conversation?
They have nothing to do with our team beside the fact that we share a home city and we play them six times a year. A FACT may be more partial to the cubs than the sox, but thats nothing more than saying I am more partial to the Cardinals than the Cubs.
The tigers still have holes in their pen that will be a weakness. The Indians stand as having the best chance to top them in the central as the rest of the division, including the White Sox, are much weaker. Our only chance stems from our rotation. Contreras and Buerhle have to pitch more like they did in 2005, Vazquez needs to reach his potential that he's been failing to reach his whole career, and finally the two youngins (likely Danks and Floyd) who will be pulling the downside of our rotation, have to have breakout years and post at least a .500 record. The lineup has the potential to be bruising, but it's going to be meaningless if they can't keep runs off the board.

Wound,
No offense taken at all. Shoot, he's the first Tiger fan I've met that spews excrement like that. Look under the penmanship "D", and I bet you find a Cubs fan in there.
I agree with your comments, but its really comes back to focus on what kind of team they are going to be...are they going the way of aggressive ball or back to swinging for the fences AGAIN? Also, injuries can destroy a season, and they can't be hurt as often again.
Can they?
