07:06 AM ET 09.11 | NBA coaching great Phil Jackson is coming back to basketball -- sort of. Showtime is developing a one-hour scripted series that takes a peek behind the scenes of a professional basketball team, with [Jackson] and current Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Kurt Rambis on board as exec producers. The series will focus on the family that owns the team, according to details provided by the CBS Corp. pay-cable service. Ron Shelton, the creative talent behind such noted sports movies as "Bull Durham," "Tin Cup" and "White Men Can't Jump," will write, direct and exec produce the project. Jeanie Buss, the senior vice president of the Los Angeles Lakers and Linda Rambis will executive produce via production company Street Reason Entertainment. Rambis is married to the Lakers coach.

The Lakers ownership has to make money somehow. A basketball version of HBO's Hard Knocks will make them a little but still paupers in comparison to most other NBA owners.

LOL.

Wow! The Lakers are already a reality show. They don't need a fake one to show the world how they are. Stop diminishing the Lakers organization. You should have learned from the Howard ads already!

Will it be better than Keeping up with the Kardashians? They can call it Breaking up with the Busses?

Most did. We cannot allow dictators and terrorists to use chemical weapons. If we turn our back than these chemical weapons can be used on our people and could be a lot worse than 9/11...

No boots on the ground...

Good comment, but we have to make damn sure that there are "any chemical weapons"!!! We can not attack another country like we did Iraq, not knowing for sure if there are/were "any WMD", like Bush did in 2003!!! Aren't we still looking for those "WMD" in Iraq???
