Nine teams have qualified for the 2014 World Cup

05:14 PM ET 09.11 | The 2014 World Cup will be hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as the top nations from around the world compete to take home the most prestigious tournament win in international soccer. Many confederations are still in the thick of their World Cup qualifying and there are plenty of spots still up for grabs, but a handful of teams have already punched their tickets to Brazil. Here is a list of the teams who have already qualified: ASIA: Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea CONCACAF: Costa Rica, United States CONMEBOL: Argentina UEFA: Italy, Netherlands

I wonder if FIFA will rig the draw to have Iran and the US in the same tournament group. Wouldn't put it past them, of course.
