05:18 PM ET 09.11 | When the Tennessee Titans travel to Reliant Stadium to take on the Houston Texans in Week Two, they will have a special performance for the fans. Those who are under the age of 18 probably won't have any idea who the crazy man performing is, but it will be none other than Rob Van Winkle a.k.a. Vanilla Ice. I guess the good news is that he will not be butchering the National Anthem. Vanilla Ice is originally from South Dallas, but apparently the Cowboys didn't want him dropping some old school rhymes on the field at Jerry World, instead, the Texans fans will be forced to listen to him during halftime of the game - which sounds like the perfect time to get up and go to the bathroom or grab another beer or three.

There should also be some type of "bottom of the barrel" mention.

Is this washed up "never really was" the best they could do?

"Vanilla Ice performing during halftime of Texans game" = barrel bottom exceeded. VI is like a celebrity zombie: you think he's done and buried and there he is again.

As the unofficial rep of my city on Truth and Rumors, let me sincerely apologize for what can only be explained as some Texans official having to pay off a gambling debt.
