Could Fluker be Alabama's Reggie Bush?

07:36 AM ET 09.13 | The differences are obvious. One's a massive offensive tackle. The other's a shifty running back. At first glance, D.J. Fluker and Reggie Bush have little in common. Or they had until Yahoo! Sports released its latest expose on the flourishing underground economy of major college football. That story raises the disturbing possibility that Fluker could be to Alabama what Bush was to USC. A player who helped win a national title and then helped lose it because he couldn't wait until he left school to get paid. ... It's impossible to read the allegations and not flash back to April, when the following message appeared on Fluker's Twitter account: "Yea I took $ n college so wat. I did wat I had to do. Agents was tryin to pimp me so I pimped them. Cast da 1st stone."

He may have taken money but he didn't take English.

One of the great comedy films. Fra Blucher - Fluker, nice tie in.

Nothing more entertaining than an SEC football player interview. Nothing sadder than giving a guy with a 4th grade education a "scholarship". Think of all the actual students that could have gone to.

It would seem from the information available in the article there is a pretty direct line of money from agent to student-athlete. It would make sense each and every game these student-athletes participated in would need to be vacated, and the schools lose a scholly for each player for the same number of years they took money. And include a 1 year bowl ban.

Yes it was. A lot of lines to quote from that one. Here's my favorite scene.

It was a tweet, so you should expect slang/short hand.

After the meat grinder SoCal was put through, the No Cred At All has no choice. Either (yellow) hammer 'Bama, or cease to exist as a regulatory body.

I don't think so!!! The NCAA will just take the National Championship away from Bama like they did with USC.

Except the circumstances are way different as I explained yesterday.

And we've already been taken through the meat grinder for less, too, in the 90s.

Plenty of people have analyzed that tweet and agree it wasn't him because he never talks like that on twitter.

It would be as weird as someone like Prince Charles talking in jive.
