07:08 AM ET 09.13 | For his part, Clay Matthews has moved on -- but not before offering one very sharp parting shot. [Matthews on Thursday] wouldn't reveal whether he was fined for his late hit on Colin Kaepernick or respond to San Francisco 49erscoach Jim Harbaugh derogatory comments about him. But for all the outside linebackers' attempts to sidestep questions about his hit on Kaepernick and the criticism from Harbaugh after the game last Sunday, Matthews when asked directly said he's not a dirty player. "Next game!" Matthews said with a smile. "I'm an awesome player, not a dirty player." Matthews acknowledged seeing Harbaugh's comments early this week. ... "Nah, I don't have any reaction," Matthews said of Harbaugh's comments. "I'm on to the next game."

He's always awesome the first few weeks of a season...

After a Baby Johnson shampoo rinse anyone can be just as awesome!

On the Suh Scale, Matthews is not dirty until he starts kicking QBs in the nuts. What he did to Kapernick was a football move, just a bit late.

Sorry Clay, but Putin says you are not exceptional.

He's got Bashar Assad listed as "questionable" for Sunday.

I don't think that his hit was dirty- but it was late as h*** and should have been at the least fined- especially if that Bucs player was fined $8K for just lightly pushing Smith out of bounds!

I say for this Sunday...HAIL!!!

I'm Axl Rose on roids, not dirty

Blondie thinks a lot of himself. The play on Kap was out of control late. He should have been fined given he said he was going to do it. He'd be a lot better if he'd just ****.

September 13, 2013  08:36 AM ET

He's a decent pass rusher, that's all.

September 13, 2013  08:39 AM ET

"I'm Fabio with less acting skills, and I'm awesome when I hit Kap out of bounds to include grabbing his head while taking him down."

That's questionable.... If Kraft's team was illegally filming in order to win the ring was he stealing or righting a wrong?

September 13, 2013  09:10 AM ET

The only reason why the league did not fine him nor had Goldie Locks set out a game because he's a White Boy!
