07:20 AM ET 09.13 | Mike Napoli may be enjoying this week of Red Sox baseball more than most. By being active for the 165th day this season, Napoli qualified for $8 million in incentives for 2013. That, combined with a $5 million base, means Napoli will earn $13 million for this season. ... In addition to qualifying for the maximum incentive payout in this year's deal, Napoli, who can be a free agent again this winter, believes that his durability this year will make a statement to the market. "I hope so," he said. "I'm pretty sure I'll have to go through the whole MRI process as I did before. But everything's looked good and I'm confident that teams aren't going to shy away." Napoli also made clear that his first preference is to remain with the Sox in 2014 and beyond. "I'd love to stay here," he said. "I love this group."

I'd love to have him back with the Rangers.

He's going to retire and play keyboards for ZZ Top.

Good for Napoli and good for the Red Sox who made judicious use of incentives and short term contracts this year.

Just read the Goodell piece on the Washington Redskins name.... Let's see, offensive names....

New England Patriots, Patriots is offensive to the royal crown, they are belligerent, and uncouth, and unsatisfied to being royal subjects.
NY Jets, Jets were used on 9/11 - it is a constant painful reminder of pain and suffering. It must stop.
Miami Dolphins, signifies the caging and training of dolphins for war.... Must not use their suffering to show a combative game such as Football
Buffalo Bills, yes - lets glorify the killing of the magnificent bison in North America,

Cincinnati Bengals, while attempting to raise awareness of an endangered species - they are portrayed as violent animals, and thus are becoming more endangered because of the subsequent fear that is engendered.
Cleveland Browns, a big pile of doo.......
Pittsburgh Steelers, those that are no more, harkening back to the days that Pittsburgh was the worlds leader in Steel production, now a remnant of it's former self, and a disgrace of the steel manufacturing leaving the U.S.
Baltimore Ravens, The fear and horror of Edgar Allen Poe, need any more be said?

Tennessee Titans, Idol Worshipers, it is offensive that the Greek Titans should be so honored.
Indianapolis Colts, yes, celebrating male youth, misogynistic at the least.
Houston Texans, idealist conservative vitriol state, Puhleese....
Jacksonville Jaguars, reference - Bengals above.

Denver Broncos, everyone knows horses are mistreated at the rodeo....
Kansas City Chiefs, yeah, only recognize the leaders of an Indian nation.... screw all the warriors and others of lower class.....
Oakland Raiders.... raiders, people who steal, and pillage..... disgusting.....
San Diego Chargers, while electricity is suppose to be the intent, our society built on the economics of Charge Cards is insane. Besides, California gets most of their electricity from Nevada..... Disgusting, can't produce what they need....

And thus the ridiculousness, of trying NOT to OFFEND, EVERYBODY.....
