04:35 PM ET 09.13 | Texas A&M freshman defensive tackle Isaiah Golden is preparing for the biggest game of his young career at College Station, but first he had to deal with a difficult time in his personal life as his two-month old daughter passed away earlier this week. There was no reason given for her death, but the funeral took place on Wednesday. The 6-foot-2, 310-pound defensive lineman is uncertain for the game and it is expected that the choice of whether or not to play will be up to him.

Condolences young man. Blessings for you and your family.

So young to have to experience this kind of heartbreak. Maybe playing the game would be the best thing to help with the recovery process..? I just don't know.

Not sure if there is anything worse than a parent having to bury their child.

Very true. When my late wife died 11 years ago (age 45), the person I felt the worst for was her mom, because she was the second of her three children she had buried - the other died at 30. It totally tore her up.

And as big as this game is, it just totally takes the edge off of it. It's just a football game.

Timer, how the hell are you??? I am so frickin glad that CF is here once again. I moved back to C-bus (Job) so now I am at ground zero for all things Buckeye.

Down side is that my job is a mother so I have little time to hit the boards and trade jabs with all you guys.

God bless you and your family. I also lost 2 children years ago, one at 13, the other 38. They say that time heals all wounds, but damn the scars are always there.

Timer, my heart goes out to you brother. I know well your pain and it is not one that I would ever wish upon anyone nor with the grace of God I will not have to endure again.

I have been blessed with three other wonderful children that are all now healthy, productive adults who loved their departed brother tremendously. I have also been blessed with a beautiful wife and mother of my children that I thank God for coming into my life every day.

Only with an abundance of faith have I been able to endure, knowing well that one day we will be united once again in the eternal realms above this mortal realm.

Now that we got that stuff out of the way SCREW Cal. LOL
