10:14 AM ET 09.14 | Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Brian Waters said Wednesday that he wanted to play Sunday in Kansas City but was going to leave that decision up to Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett. During a Friday radio interview, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said not only would Waters play against the Chiefs, but he would receive "significant playing time." Waters, 36, signed with the Cowboys on Sept. 3 after sitting out the entire 2012 season. The six-time Pro Bowler was inactive Week 1 but has steadily seen his reps increase during practice. Garrett said Waters has taken snaps with the first team offense this week with the majority of his work coming at right guard.

If he doesn't work out, I'd trade Vikings' guard Brandon Fusco to Dallas for a bag of balls and a used Pom-Pom.
