05:08 PM ET 09.17 | Do you all remember Derrick Rose? If not, he was the Chicago Bulls star that sat out all of last year with a torn ACL, but now he is trying to get back in the mix in a big way. Not only will he be returning to the court for the Bulls this coming season, but he has plans to play for the USA basketball team next year during next year's FIBA World Cup in Spain. The only problem for the USA basketball team will be what NBA stars to select on a roster with limited opportunities. When you consider that Russell Westbrook and Kyrie Irving could have two spots locked down, perhaps Rose won't get his wish of making the team.

What a joke. He can't play for his team but he can play in this thing? Until he has proven himself on the NBA court, he should play ANYWHERE else. Otherwise, he's just ripping off his salary.

You clowns are delusional... how you gonna hate on the kid. He's already been scrimmaging and is totally healthy. I bet your tune changes when he starts tearing up the league this season and putting the Heat on the brink of elimination.

Its not his ability that have ever been in question. Its his heart, and fondness for on again, off again career drama.

Pfftttt......he should be considering it now.

Making it known what his intentions are should be donenow, and showing that he's fit to play/compete/excel starts now.

Why in the world would he wait until May of 2014 to "consider" what he'll be wants to do in June 2014?
