05:17 PM ET 09.17 | The San Diego Chargers are expected to have second-round draft pick Manti Te'o return to the practice field this week for the first time since getting injured early in the preseason. Te'o injured his foot on Aug. 8, but he is on track to return Wednesday. In Te'o's absence, third-year pro Bront Bird has emerged from the bac up role to tie for a team leading 15 tackles after two weeks. The Chargers defense has given up over 30 points in the first two games of the season, so any way they can improve on the defensive side of the ball will be welcomed.

Let's see him play before judging him.
ND's talent is self-evident, doesn't need defending.

Was he in mourning over his dead imaginary girlfriend?

saw enough in the game against Bama last year, wasn't impressed

September 18, 2013  02:16 PM ET

Teo is gonna be a good player. Everybody dogs him for his NC game no show against Bama but the dude was dealing with major distractions.

I remember how dominant he was the rest of the time.

It was just somebodys prank

the same day that everybody else found out
