Want to show your undying devotion to Georgia Tech or UGA? Now you can. banning the use of college logos on burial items like coffins or urns, allowing fans to bring their love for their alma maters into the hereafter. A Macon-based business, Collegiate Memorials, asked the Regents to loosen the rules and after a closer look at other states' policies, members of the board relented. The ban was part of a policy written in 1982, that prohibited logos on burial items, sex toys and alcoholic beverages, among others.

Ohh boy another way to make coffins twice as expensive with a freakin logo on it bad enough funerals already cost no less than 8g;s nationwide thats way to much for the average family only people getting paid are the morticians, the cemetaries, and the coffin companies and know most states require crypts which is crazy let the coffins rot in the ground and let it gooooo

Get the stick out of **** and your nose out of the sky, BuckeyePride. If they had an Ohio State coffin, you're saying you wouldn't at least THINK about getting one? I think you have sour grapes because our backwards schools in the South whomped your a** the past two years. Since all we have to do down here is play football and have sex with our sisters, I guess that should have been no surprise to you.

Screw the Big 10 and Go Dawgs and Go SEC!

"Georgia born, Georgia bred, and here I lie, Georgia Dead!"

I think they do have an Ohio State coffin. As strange as it is, a lot of schools have them. I am embarassed to say FSU does. A fan in life and a fan in death I guess...weird.

Sports logos on sex toys why didn't i think of that??

February 14, 2008  01:21 PM ET

the logos of quite a few Div 1 schools (including Ohio St) are available. not really that strange considering the importance some people place on sports while they are alive.....might as well take it all with you to the afterlife. :-)

Buckeye Pride, Us boys from Dixie long for the day when we can be as classy as Maurice Clarett, Art Schlichter, Woody Hayes, etc.

Putting a Logo on a Casket is a little cheezy, if they were a real fan they would put it on the headstone with school colors.

OSU loves getting the crap kicked out of it by SEC schools. SEC Rules.
