Vikings suggest Cordarrelle Patterson could get more playing time

03:59 PM ET 09.19 | Just days after hinting that rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson would see more playing time going forward, Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Leslie Frazier again reiterated the point this afternoon. The Vikings traded away a small army of draft picks to move up and draft Patterson, so his limited snap counts during the first two weeks of the NFL season (especially considering his impressive 105-yard kick return) are a bit odd. That looks to be changing though, which should be music to the ears of Vikings fans. Opposing defenders, not so much.

Corduroy?

Nah, synthetic. Cordarrelle.

Why would he get "less playing time"? The guy ran back the opening kick-off 105 yards.

You don't play for this team unless you understand the system. The Vikes are the least penalized teams because they draft smart guys. If Corderelle ain't playing there's a good reason like maybe he can't learn the plays yet but is getting there?

Wasn't Cordarelle a brand of plastic dinnerware sold in the early 70s?
