10:12 AM ET 09.21 | University of Detroit Mercy forward Nick Minnerath will not be attending training camp with the Lakers, according to Dave Murphy of Forum Blue and Gold. Minnerath reported on Twitter in August that he was invited by the Lakers to camp, but now the 6-foot-9 forward has chosen instead to play for Obradoiro CAB in the Spanish ACB League. His original tweets showed his initial enthusiasm at the opportunity to play with the Lakers:

QUOTE(#5):

The Lakers franchise is in disarray. They can't keep their own FA's and there are no coaches available who can make them better. Kobe is going to have a bad (and short) season. Lottery time for them

BURN THE JERSEY!

Even if these guys make it on the team they'll just spend their time watching the games in the front row. Good choice rookie.

No, it said even worse, skip Laker camp to play in Europe. Earl Clark skipped Laker camp for Cleveland.

Wrong again timmy. Europe is not worse than Cleveland.

The Cavs are now better than the Lakers.

Lakers season solely depends on Kobe's health, and we all know he is a warrior.
Cavs season depends on KI's health, Bynum's health, Varejo's health.....too many "moving" parts!

LAKERS can't get a hit no matter how much they try here lately. This ought to tell the of the faithful who stayed when they let go of Shaq how far the team has fallen. I always say you can't do dirt and dirt doesn't touch you. The organization hitch it's everything to Kobe and nw they are paying the cost for that narrow minded thinking.

The Lakers will be just fine have an off year this year but mark my word they will have a playoff spot, then next year pick up a couple free agents, and they'll be back in business....those of you laker haters can have a laugh this year but chances are the jokes on you the LA Lakers will never be on the bottom long
