04:33 PM ET 09.21 | The Florida Gators are currently playing the Tennessee Volunteers in the Swamp, but in the first quarter, they're down 7-0 and have lost their starting QB. The UF offense got off to an efficient start, but on their second possession, Gators QB Jeff Driskel through an interception to Devaun Swafford while being hit by UT defensive lineman Corey Miller, and Swafford took it to the house for a touchdown. The injury appeared to be to the right ankle. On the play, Driskel was injured and had to be helped off the field, and is now on the sidelines with crutches and appears to be not only done for this game, but may be out for a significant amount of time.

Nobody likes to see this.

Hate to see it happen this way, but Driskel being out for the year is the BEST thing that could happen for UF. Not to speak ill of the injured, but let's face it. Driskel just isn't very good.

You gators shouldn't be too upset after watching Tyler Murphy perform. The kid's got moxie, and he can play. I like him.

Ohio St. is praying the same thing happens to Braxton Miller.

But UFs D is by far the best defense I have seen this year.... They just keep coming after you

Agree (along with the Sparty D)

It is a damn shame we won't get to see the Gator D vs JFF's offense.

They bottled JFF up last year, but would they this year?

ESPN was calling it a broken leg last night. Confirmed?

Yes, it may not be too bad with Murphy. However, Tenn doesn't have the top defense in the SEC. I will be positive but reserve my final view until the next couple games. The pressure of knowing your the starter all week is different than just being thrust into the game.

Do I think it will happen... neaux.. possible yes...Bama is the only team that has a chance to go undefeated... They are in the drivers seat... They only have 1 more team on their schedule who has a realistic chance to beat them...I have no clue who will win the East...

Bayou aggies can beat the gump aggies.

East is a mess...but I'd have to go with dawg aggies unless the UF defense can score enough to win the WLOCP

Don't think so, Dirty Knickers. There's no QB controversy in C-bus. Miller is the man under center when he's mended up enough to take the field. Guiton is the designated #2 QB, make no mistake.

Yes Florida does have a good defense, but did you happen to watch the Vols against Oregon, or Stanford against ASU??

Yeah, slim and none!! :-)
