09:43 AM ET 09.22 | When asked who would win a game of one-one between him and Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson didn't hesitate. "Michael would win. That's not my game. My game is assisting, setting up my teammates. Michael's the greatest one-on-one player. I couldn't go out and drop 60 like him, but he couldn't run a team like I could."

You are ancient history now, Magic. What's more pertinent is how would Kobe do against Timmy if both were in their prime still? Kobe has some quickness but Timmy's length would be a big factor.

Magic is like Charles Barkley and Shaq..............

Still trying to remain relevant and in the limelight of a sport that has passed them by.........

They can't stand the fact that they are part of the past in the NBA.....

I remember back in the late 80's when Orlando was getting a team. They were going to use the name Magic and when a reporter asked Magic Johnson about it he said he would be flattered if they were naming the team after him, lol. Talk about an ego...smh

He certainly is full of himself...........

Magic speaks the truth when he said: "I couldn't go out and drop 60 like him, but he couldn't run a team like I could.". Jordan never could "run" a team like Magic ran the Lakers, but then again it wasn't Magic's job to drop 60 points against anyone. Although he did score 42 points, had 15 boards and 7 assist in a playoff game as a rookie, when Jabbar was out with an injury.

There hasn't been a player with MJ's heart and desire to win since he retired the second time.
