07:29 AM ET 09.23 | His dance card nearly full, Joel Quenneville does have at least one more roster spot to fill. With Brandon Bollig and [Ben Smith] making strong cases for spots on the fourth line, that leaves only -- what else? -- second-line center, between Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa, up for grabs. Quenneville said that Michal Handzus -- who has been skating on his own all camp but has yet to play a game as he recovers from major wrist and knee injuries -- is the likeliest option to return to the spot he held in the playoffs. Quenneville said before camp that Handzus was going to play a smaller role this season. ... Brandon Pirri, the AHL's leading scorer last season, is another candidate. But he has missed the entire preseason with a lower-body injury, hurting his chances of coming out of camp with the job. "He's still here," Quenneville said.

Either one of those guys 9Hossa/Sharp) could probably fetch a decent return

Nice problem for "Q" to have. I don't feel sorry for him one bit.

Maybe they need to lower the cap again just to even things up a little more.

The Oilers are pretty desperate for help at center right about now.

The picked up McSorely off of waivers from the Pens. He's been playing for Wilkes-Barre the last couple years, nothing spectacular, but the Oil must think he will fit in. Wish him the best of luck.
