06:11 PM ET 09.23 | It's been a while since Derrick Rose stepped onto an NBA court. It's also been a while since he was in Chicago. One of the two changed recently when Rose stopped by Chi-Town where a crowd of over 4,000 waited to greet him. Rose suggested that he was happy to be home, but more importantly, suggested that he has no physical restrictions when he does return to the hardwood, which shouldn't be more than a few weeks - at least from a game action perspective.

Just shut the heck up and play dude..............Try to save what little respect around the league and with fans that you have......

Derrick Rose says he has no physical restrictions

Is having no heart physical ???

September 23, 2013  08:27 PM ET

If the rest of his body is as energetic as his mouth Chicago can go all the way to the finals.

Agreed. Rose was cleared before the end of the season, what's different now he likes his new Adidas commercial?

If he had physical limitations he might as well retire now, he's already had longer to heal then any other professional athlete with that type of injury

Oh my God....as a Pistons fan I have to defend this guy? Really?

First of all, children, Derrick Rose made a business decision. His knee was not right. Why should he come back before he's ready? To do what? Play below expectations and get hammered by fans for poor play in order to try for their respect? What sense does that make?

And what does the "respect" of fans have to do with the price of tea in China? Fans are as fickle and rude as they can be and the respect of some 300 lbs meatball sitting on his couch or cheap office chair making comments about his life means nothing. If Derrick Rose is conducting his business to please stupid fans then he's already lost.

That dude is one of the most dynamic players in the league. Hey....if the Bulls fans don't want him we'll take him on the Pistons and burn the city of Chicago, along with the league, down to the ground leaving nothing. We'll salt the earth so nothing will grow.

Get off Derrick Rose Bulls fans. Thank your lucky stars you have him on your team. Now am I going to wash the bile from my mouth after defending an enemy player like this. Go Pistons.

RG III was cleared too before his playoff game. How did that work out?

Here's a hint: Not well at all.

"Derrick Rose says he has no physical restrictions"

How about mental restrictions though? 'coz that seems to be the problem!

What are you" His lawyer? You can write whatever you want here, but none of that changes the fact that the guy has no guts, which is why I stopped reading after "...Rome made a business decision."

You're fighting for a lost cause here. Other people know what was best for D Rose and the Bulls than they did (sarcasm). It will all change when they (pre)season starts and he comes out destroying the league like he was before his injury.

Also, it's not even Chicago fans, anymore. Most in Chicago are just anxious for opening night. It's the fans of other teams who are still complaining/judging/holding grudges because he didn't come back last playoffs.

Your guy is a punk until he proves otherwise.

...and furthermore he is soft. What is his deal anyway? Crying for 2 weeks over delivery pizza when the Bulls were bounced from the playoffs. Not coming back TO DO HIS JOB when he was clearly able. And through it all, he talks too much about all of it! That is punkish. I don't care how you cut or rationalize it. He may very well come back and make other teams pay, but that won't change the fact that he's a softy. What kind of man acts like this??? Its a good thing he's playing in today's NBA because he'd never have lasted in the 80's or 90's.

I don't mind the fact that he didn't come back LAST year, I'm just sick of all the bs THIS year about him believing he might be 100% and doesn't believe he has any physical limitations

He just needs to shut up and play! The more he yaps the more deushebaggy he gets. Respect comes from what you do on the floor and not from what you're saying.

Yo...no guts, no glory. He needs to just step up on the court, and prove everybody wrong. Will he play? Won't he play? Is he ready? Why won't he play if he's been cleared to play? What's wrong with the man? Understood that it's mental, but he really needs to step out there and get 'er done.
