07:14 AM ET 09.24 | Hakeem Nicks had his say after Big Blue's dispiriting loss this past Sunday, and his coach responded publicly on Monday. Tom Coughlin had a message for the Giants after they were pasted on in Charlotte and that was "stick together." It's a fitting theme, given that following the loss there was a sign of discontent from [Nicks]. Nicks didn't catch a pass Sunday in his first professional regular-season game in his hometown, and was targeted just once, late in the fourth quarter. After the game, Nicks expressed his frustration. "I can't throw it to myself," he said. ... "That's not a smart thing to say," Coughlin said. "He's on the field. The quarterback was sacked seven times and hit probably, what, 15 times? Not a very smart thing to say. I'll talk to him about it, sure."

Coughlin sure doesn't need this dope telling him what to do. Grabbing some bench will be Nicks' next move.

September 24, 2013  07:38 AM ET

Nicks is a Getty Gonner, he needs to go back to receiver School and keep his mouth shut, even if he threw the ball to himself, he probably would break a finger and drop the ball and find his way back to The DL!!!!

I was hoping that maybe this would be the year for that but this DC fan feels like it may not happen...yet again.

Hail to the Redskins!

Yeah, I'd like them to get their act together, and make it a fight to see who gets the NFC East at 8-8.
