07:27 AM ET 09.24 | The Spartans have NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball, which may be good news for the man coaching it. Michigan State's defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi should be on a lot of schools short list for a head coaching job. Going into the season, the Spartans had three players on defense that were considered quality prospects by NFL scouts. Before the year is over, there may be a few more. The three players are Mike linebacker Max Bullough, outside linebacker Denicos Allen, and corner Darqueze Dennard. Bullough and Dennard should be premium picks while Allen is a late round to free agent type. Bullough is a fourth-year senior and a three-year starter at middle linebacker. He has all the tools to be a top linebacker in the NFL. ... [Where] Dennard gets drafted will depend on his he runs at the combine. If he runs a sub 4.5, he will be a first round pick and play very early in his career.

Domers 17, Sparty 13 = Fail for Narduzzi. Should've been a MSU defensive touchdown scored in that game to up his stock for HC job.

But I saw it on the interwebz, so it has to be true.

Besides, they made him a SERIOUS offer last year as well

he declined...said he couldnt process any players

Yeah, plus the big 12 doesn't have any criminals & they are all Rhodes scholars. MUCH better quality human beings than the SEC.

And they don't schedule cream-puffs
And they play 9-game conf schedules
And they have to travel for OOC games
And they don't have ESPN pimping them
And they don't pay players
And they have to go to class and do their own work

Did I miss any???

Yeah, generally all screw-ups within the conference are Bevo's fault.

Getting back to the story about a B1G coach, MSU knows they won't be able to keep Narduzzin much longer. They upped his salary to $600K last year to keep other schools from trying to get him to move as the DC (Sumlin was after him), but the school knows Narduzzi will be a candidate for some open HC spots. I doubt it will be for a top name program like Texas or USC, but I also don't think it will be a mid-major school. I would guess that he goes to a lower level program in one of the big 5 conferences. You know, like Tennessee. ;-)

They play outdoors in that cold white stuff, I hear it's called "snow" or something like that.

maybe he will take over for Dantoni....

If Dantonio can't pick a qb, and keeps pulling play calling stunts like he did last week, it could be a possibility. I have no doubt that if Narduzzi stays or leaves, he will be the first choice of the current AD to replace Dantonio, when he retires.
