Metta World Peace wants bigger role with Knicks

03:59 PM ET 09.24 | When Metta World Peace signed with the New York Knicks, he knew there was a good chance he'd be coming off the bench. He was fine with that and apparently still is fine with that, however, that doesn't mean he wants the ball in his hands any less. In fact, Peace, who was a third or fourth option in Los Angeles, depending who was on the court, says he wants to be involved in the Knicks' offense more than he was with the Lakers.

Let the circus begin. He has probably took a look at the Knicks personnel and accessed that he needs to be more of a factor and not just a role player.
