Still no timetable for Andrew Bynum's return

04:06 PM ET 09.24 | The Cleveland Cavaliers took a low-risk, high reward when they signed Andrew Bynum this offseason. Having consistent knee injuries, Bynum can give you an all-star center when healthy, but call the Sixers and ask what he gives you when he's unhealthy. He missed all of last season in Philadelphia, and his hair got more publicity than anything he gave them on the court. Still, the Cavs only gave him $6 million guaranteed, and if he never plays, it won't hurt as bad as it did in Philly. The Cavs are trying to stay out of the lottery, and they have a chance to make the playoffs, as long as everyone stays healthy. As for Bynum's health, we've heard he's on schedule for a schedule that doesn't exist, and now, reports indicate we still have no idea what's going on.

If the Cavs get 50 games and the playoffs out of KI, it's a success.

Fixed!

QUOTE(#7):

Cavs just wasted 6 mil. Bynum is done. 6 mil is still 6 mil and it aint such a deal when this bum watches from the bench for the next 2 years

its a 1 year deal with a 1 year team option

considering bums like Steve Blake are making 4-5 million a year- to take a gamble on a guy who could be a top 10 player in the conference and a true game changer for 6 million is well worth it in my opinon

and its September and everyone just KNOWS he is not going to play- its just so ridiculous- if he plays 50 games and helps the Cavs make the playoffs a lot of people on here are going to look like incompetent fools

Kyrie played 59 last year and that was with the Cavs shutting him down at the slightest hint of an injury in order to get a high pick

Kyrie will be one of the best players in the league- and lead the Cavs to the playoffs- while your crappy Hawks- with the TERRIBLE Danny Ferry as GM will fall out of the playoffs- and be even more irrelevant

do you know how sad and pathetic it is that the Cavs- with a losing record- outdrew the Hawks in attendance last year?!!!

is there even such thing as a Hawks fan??? move the team- the city never even supported a team that went to the playoffs (albeit would always get the crap beaten out of them early) consistently.

Move the team to Seattle where people may actually support it. Atlanta does not deserve a team

QUOTE(#5):

This is without doubt Bynums last chance and it was a low risk high reward move for the Cavs. If he' can play they are perhaps a 45-50 win team. Without him, they are still a 40 win team.

Ha ha ha ha

Fixed again.

His hairs are a reason for publicity more than his bad health

These guys haven't a clue how fortunate they are to have the opportunity (and talent) to play professional sports for top $. Bynum will get it AFTER he gets retired from the Cavs at the end of the season. Hope he saved his $$.........
