04:09 PM ET 09.24 | Denver Broncos offensive tackle Chris Clark had to step up in one of the most important jobs in the NFL on Monday night, when he was called on to replace the injured Ryan Clady and protect the blindside of star quarterback Peyton Manning. It was the first start of Clark's career and his quarterback was more than happy with the way the five-year veteran out of Southern Mississippi performed. When Manning was discussing Clark's performance, he stated that Clady's holdout through the team's workouts had played a big part in Clark's preparation and readiness for his debut in prime time.

Manning should be happy about everthing Bronco.....they look very good!

Clark played really well last night. Except for the play where the DE totally smoked him and belted Manning, making him fumble. Too many of those types of plays and Denver doesn't have to worry about folding in the playoffs, they won't make the playoffs.

The only thing to note, PM was able to get rid of the ball in 2 seconds most of the night. Playing a better backfield will tell more about Clark.

Exactly. This was against one of the worst football teams in the NFL. Although, with all those receivers, 2 seconds is a lot of time for someone to get open.

Peyton looked a little "miffed" after that play....

The Raiders defense is actually not 'one of the worst', but more 'middle-of-the-pack'. The problem is that they played the best team in the league. It's not even close.

Pretty much.

The Raiders allow 22.3 points per game, 15th in the NFL.

The Giants allow 38.3ppg, last in the NFL.

Who is that troll anyway? Thought about researching comments, but I'm occupied watching Wacha 2 outs away from no-hitting the Gnats.
