07:12 AM ET 09.25 | Never shy with his opinions on Big Blue, safety Antrel Rolle took the occasion of his weekly radio appearance to assess the Giants. [Rolle] repeated that the team lacks emotion and fire. He agreed with former Giants linebacker and current team radio analyst Carl Banks that the team isn't "fighting for each other" but said there isn't a rift in the locker room. He did, however, say the problem goes beyond Xs and Os and that players have to look within themselves and do "some serious soul searching." "You fight for the guy beside you, you don't fight for yourself," Rolle said in a fiery tone. "They (Carolina) punched us in the mouth and we didn't do anything. We're still bleeding to this day. I agree 200 percent when (Banks) says we're not fighting for each other."

I knew it wouldn't be long for this guy to speak up.

September 25, 2013  07:29 AM ET

It's starting to really get nice and ugly up there. LOL!!!

Right out if Dale Carnegie's book: when your teammates are down, the best way to elevate them is to publicaly berate them.

September 25, 2013  07:53 AM ET

Big Blue is showing its true colors.

September 25, 2013  08:01 AM ET

They ran too long with the same cast...it's time for an overhaul.

We'll see if there's any fight left in this dawg. It sure didn't look like it on Sunday in Carolina.

Not this week at KC. Andy knows them pretty well. He's already 2-0 against the NFC East.

The Chiefs are looking good on paper, but let's see what happens when they play a real team. Not this week, though.

On the other hand, Coughlin knows Andy pretty well, too.

Wow.. There will be a world of change when this season is over. I'm thinking implosion.

Poor Eli...

The Giants being 0-3 is just one of the many storylines in the NFL so far. Lots of teams have come out of nowhere, and the "elite" teams are currently bottom-dwellers.

You know things are tough in NY when Archie comes out publicly and tells us that Peyton is his favvorite son.

September 25, 2013  09:05 AM ET

Truth in what he said. Still, he is whipping a three legged dog. This goes back to last year. They have lost five of the last six regular season games they have played and all but one by lopsided scores.

They kept some guys too long. More than some.

A NY lineman needs to take the safety off.

but said there isn't a rift in the locker room.

Maybe there should be. When someone's not oing theirjob, it's not wrong to call them personally out on it, on a team like this. Just make sureif you're the one calling out, that you're doing what you're supposed to be doing.

He's playing his Rolle very well.

Rolle is one the few guys earning his paycheck on defense. If he is wrong, then Banks is wrong too. I think they are both right. The only question is should you say it publicly?

last time a Giants player took the safety off he shot himself.

To be fair, he probably didn't even know how to spell safety.
