05:30 PM ET 09.25 | Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tomas Vokoun, who displaced incumbent Marc-Andre Fleury in last year's Stanley Cup playoffs, was released from the hospital today after receiving treatment for blood clots in his hip. Vokoun noticed a growth on his thigh last week and went to the hospital, where it was treated through surgery three days ago. With Vokoun out indefinitely, the Peguins look to start Fleury, who has been seeing a sports psychologist, and use Jeff Zatkoff as a backup.

If the Pitt PP returns to last season form, and Sid the Kid continues the tear he was on last year; it wont matter who is in goal.
