Jags not interested in Josh Freeman

05:32 PM ET 09.25 | With the team in need of a quarterback, one might think the Jacksonville Jaguars would attempt to buy low on recently benched signal caller Josh Freeman. That will apparently not be the case, however, after reports surfaced saying the Jaguars have "zero" interest in trading for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. If you're trying to improve, you don't do it by increasing your talent marginally, especially at the quarterback position.

Why would they give anything up? More than likely TB won't find a trade partner because everyone knows they have to release him, and Jacksonville will have first shot at him based on record won't they?

Plus, he's a free agent at the end of this season.

This guy plummetted faster than Enron stock.

Jags are stupid for not picking up Tebow. I don't care about all the Tebow debate, he wouldn't have cost them hardly anything and he would have put butts in seats and sold merch.

If I can hire a good guy for $50k a year and he's going to bring in $500k a year to my company I don't decide not to because he isn't the guy I want in that job in 3 years or isn't the guy I want next year.

Come on it's the Jags.... they got nothing to lose if they pick up Tebow, for that matter even, even, even.... Farve.... LOL

Totally agreed. The Jags are so awful anyway, he could only have helped...even if he was just leading the prayer service.

And God knows that they need help from above.

The Jags are better off without him. Tank this season ( like they have a choice ) and draft Bridgewater. Then things will be looking great for them. All they really need is a QB and some LB help. Why put false hope in the team by bringing in Tebow and the circus that comes with it?

With so little interest from NFL teams, he should have his agent contact the GM for the CFL's new expansion team, the Otawa Red Blacks.

I almost agree with you but after starting 0-3 if you bring tebow in and somehow win 4 games giver or take a few the fans will riot next year if you don't start tebow and I am a huge tebow as he won for my gators and I believe he can win GAMES in the NFL but I do not believe you win CHAMPIONSHIPS with him or even go deep into the playoffs with him now tell me would you sign tebow to win a few games or would you tank and take your chances at drafting a good qb who you can win more than a few games with, the jags even though 0-3 have a lot going for them they have a couple solid receivers a good running back and a decent defense if we could add a solid qb and a few other positions i think we could at least win 8+ games next season
