07:13 AM ET 09.26 | Credit Big Blue for its collective optimism in the face of a winless record, sputtering offense, porous defense and the undefeated Chiefs on the schedule. "I can sit here and kid around, (say) it's a must-win situation, but that's been thrown around for a while now," defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said. "We need to win this game. And I'm pretty sure we'll come out on top." ... In one corner, Hakeem Nicks hailed a unit that couldn't score on the Panthers as "the best offense in the league." In another, Pierre-Paul bellowed that Giants fans already dissing the team "ain't real fans." In still another, Victor Cruz was talking of how this game would be the turning point for the season. "I think the better Giants team is going to show up this week," Cruz said.

The whole team has caught Good Eli, Bad Eli Syndrome.

Delusional.

In another corner, Tom Coughlin wishes they would all shut up and play football the way they are supposed to.

Smith will be exposed from time to time.

Yeah, but it doesn't look like Andy is putting him too far out on the plank....

Now I thought when a player shows concussion symtoms he was not aloud to play till he was medically cleared......Hakim Nicks clearly has those symptoms in stateing "We have the best offense in the league"

They do in practice playing against their own defense. But so does everybody else on game day playing against them.

Andy had a reason for going there. They had six pro bowlers last year and early draft position each round.

Either way, things have not looked this good in KC since Christ was a corporal.

Yeah. Even when they took the division with Matt Cassel, they did not beat one team with a winning record.

Playoffs? One and done. Playoffs?
