05:00 PM ET 09.26 | When the Minnesota Vikings traded disgruntled wide receiver Percy Harvin and shipped him to the Seattle Seahawks for a first-round draft pick, it looked like a good deal for both sides. That is until Harvin opened his first training camp in Seattle on the active/physically unable to perform list after telling the Seahawks he wasn't comfortable practicing on the hip, which had given the dynamic receiver trouble since last month. Then came word that the injury was actually a tear of the hip-labrum, and Harvin was eventually placed on the PUP list, and is still rehabbing from the injury that will cost him at least the first six games of this season. Harvin has now returned to New York for rehab on the injury, but it doesn't look like a return is coming any time in the near future.

Seattle didn't do the trade on the condition of passing a physical?

Too bad the docs can't give him a new heart. He's not using his at all. The hip doesn't bother him when he goes to the bank I bet.

He'll have to travel to the west coast to get his prescription for medicinal marijuana filled.

I believe Harvin injured his hip in the off season, after signing with the Hawks.
