07:10 AM ET 09.27 | As some debate the possible regression of Sam Bradford, others consider the Rams teams for which he's played -- either way, he remains a somewhat polarizing figure. It begs the question: When might the Rams' front office think about alternatives? ... [NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport and NFL Media Columnist Mike Silver] spent time with Rams coach Jeff Fisher, general manager Les Snead and Rams president Kevin Demoff in St. Louis this week. "We have decided that Sam Bradford is our guy. If they came to us and wanted to do a contract extension right now, we'd do it in a minute," Demoff told Silver. Bradford's deal doesn't run out until 2015. ... Rapoport and Silver reported on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access Kickoff" that Bradford is in no rush to work on an extension.

WHY would he stay?

QUOTE(#2):

WHY would he stay?

Because in St. Loo he has someone else to blame failure on.

They sucked before he got there, they suck now and they'll suck after he's gone.

He gets hit a lot in St. Louis. Wonder if that's him or the O-line sucks? Either way they're not very good.

QUOTE(#2):

WHY would he stay?

Because he wants to live in L.A.?

The Rams don't have a running game to keep opposing defense's honest against the pass.

He's locked up for two more seasons after this one? There's nothing to discuss.

That's gotta be it. It just seems he's getting hit every time back. Tough way to read a defense and make any long throws.

Totally agree. Why extend him now? Too much can happen and you can always tag him if he becomes "that" guy for two years. So, if they want him they have him until 2018....

Four years counting tags.

Obviously this was written before last nights game.

I see a showdown looming in these negotiations. Schottenheimer or Bradford. Pick one.

The best answer might be to dump them both.

They don't even have anything the vaguely resembles a running game.

Maybe that Steven Jackson guy was better than we thought.

That's the correct answer right there!!!!

Then why did the NFL Network even bring this up in tbe first place??? Probably just killing time before the game is my guess.

September 27, 2013  10:06 AM ET

It's not the team it's the city. Hard to convince a young multi millionaire to live in St.Louis.

September 27, 2013  10:25 AM ET

That was one of the most mindnumblingly boring games I've ever seen last night. That running game is putrid. Bradford can't succeed until they do something about it.

"We have decided that Sam Bradford is our guy''. Now if they just had an ''our running back'' and ''our receivers'' to go along with him. That rookie looked good at times though, Cook?
