Kobe's favorite teammate

07:13 AM ET 09.27 | On paper, Derek Fisher isn't nearly the player he once was. In the 24 games he got in last season for the Thunder he shot 33.3 percent, had a PER of 7 and was a defensive liability. To be fair he was better during the playoffs when forced in duty with Russell Westbrook down, he averaged 8.7 points a game and shot 47 percent from three, but his PER of 11.2 speaks to his inefficiency and his defense was still bad (for every charge he drew there were a few times his guy just blew by him). But Kobe Bryant wants him back on the Lakers. ... [Said Bryant:] "My all time favorite teammate has always been Derek Fisher. He's been my favorite teammate, I would love to see him back in a Lakers uniform so we could kind of finish out together."

And his worst teammate was that chick in Denver.

A selfish guy will always love another selfish guy.

Remember when he threw Shaq under the bus, lol?

I do. Although I never truly understood that whole thing. Neither guy had any reason to do what they did as far as I could tell. While Shaq had nothing to do with Kobe's infidelity and shouldn't have been brought into the equation, in the final analysis, its not like Kobe made the whole thing up. How mad did Shaq really have a right to be?

He throw the whole team under the bus. Devean George was actually his fave Laker teammate back then. Fisher was a Shaq guy.

QUOTE(#3):

Fisher was Kobe's favorite because he always gave Kobe the ball. Nash didn't do that the right way last season, so Kobe had to just take over his job and give himself the ball.

Nash started the season on the IR.

Fisher is a great guy in the locker room. Unfortunately the Fakers can't play in there.

Kobe didn't take Nash's job at the start of the season. Nice try.

Kobe didn't take the job either. DA ran the offense through Kobe.

Nice try. Oh, and they were also better. There's always that.

Not really true. Nash on the second game sustained an injury that sidelined him for months. When he was back, Kobe took over his duties because Nash was not the same physically and the offense flowed better with Kobe playing as PG and distributing the ball. Keep it real bro. ;-)

That's right. He got hurt early in the season.
