09:12 AM ET 09.28 | You might recall this little transaction from a week ago when the Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Colts for a first-round draft pick. Obviously, that upset Indianapolis running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who outgained Richardson 95-35 in rushing yards in the Colts win against the 49ers on Sunday. This week, though, Indianapolis really will need Richardson to carry the load now against the Jaguars. The team announced Friday that Bradshaw is out Sunday because of neck discomfort. Coach Chuck Pagano could not identify when or how Bradshaw was hurt, but he said it was a "significant blow."

"He said it was a "significant blow."

A possible line from the Linda Lovelace movie?

Ahmad Bradshaw is upset? He should file a hurt feelings report.

I am sure they will do just fine against the Jags even with their second best running back carrying the "load." Not exactly a heavy lift.

"Neck discomfort?" You mean "This guy is a pain in the neck?"

Carrying a load is one way to keep guys from grabbing you from behind.

I wonder how that has been going for AH?

September 28, 2013  10:31 PM ET

If you trade a first-round pick for a guy, you expect him to be on the field carrying the load every week, regardless of the other runningback's health.

Bull. He is carrying more due to the high costs to acquire him.
