05:23 PM ET 09.28 | When the San Francisco 49ers acquired wide receiver Jon Baldwin from the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this season in exchange for A.J. Jenkins, they probably weren't thinking they'd have to thrust him into the starting lineup. How things change. While Baldwin hasn't been officially deemed a starter, after rookie Quinton Patton broke his foot in the Niners' Thursday night win over the St. Louis Rams, Baldwin will be forced into more action, according to head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Thank goodness they've got Jim Harbaugh. At least now they'll know exactly where to insert the nozzle.
