Not everyone sold on Mike Glennon's arm

09:02 AM ET 09.29 | Since the players haven't really candidly addressed the issue much, it's hard to gauge the sentiments in the Tampa Bay locker room about coach Greg Schiano's switch of starting quarterbacks, from veteran Josh Freeman to rookie Mike Glennon. But it's worth noting that there was some difference of opinion about Glennon last spring, before the Bucs grabbed the former North Carolina State standout with a third-round choice. Looking back on notes gleaned from several NFL general managers and personnel directors prior to the draft, it's clear, in retrospect, not everyone was sold on Glennon. Perhaps most conspicuous in reviewing the notes was a disparity of opinion over his arm strength. For all his size and pocket stature, a few scouts noted, Glennon didn't drive the ball with as much authority as some expected him to do in a few games.

Could just be pulling a Colt. Tank the season for that first pick in the next draft.

Well, his parents do drive around with a sticker on the back of their Prius that says " My Son Is In The Honor society."

Word is leaking that the Vikes may be interested in Freeman. Ya one big problemo.
If the Vikes win today that interests wanes and if Glendon sucks, Freeman is back in and not available.
I got news for Glendon. Better tell your receivers to hang onto the ball. Saw a game a few years ago and the recievers were dropping everything in sight, until the white guy was benched. They put the black guy in (VY) and they looked like hall of famers.
I happen to think the game is me me me now and if certain people go out and drop some balls, then they care more about who plays then winning. Just a thought.

Kid looks really small and young.

Well small may be the wrong word, since the guy is 6 foot 6 or whatever, but man.... he has the body of a fifth grader.
