08:21 AM ET 09.29 | Among the many frustrations with owner Jeffrey Loria inside the Marlins, as expressed by one Marlins baseball official: "You're making all the moves, so why don't you just come out and say you're the general manager, like [Cowboys owner] Jerry Jones does?" The belief internally is that Loria wants credit for the moves that work but wants to distance himself from the ones he suggests that don't work (such as signing Heath Bell).

QUOTE(#2):

I wish Loria would put on a meat suit, then go for a swim in the Everglades.

Good idea. Too kind to him though. No doubt cause a terminal illness for a few gators.

Loria hired a new front office staff (yes men). For Loria to take on the GM job is not his style. If he was GM he couldn't put bad decisions on someone else. That way like he dos now , is take credit for what works and blame others for what doesn't. His management plan is I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you. Besides if Loria did take on the GM job if after a couple of years and there is no improvement Loria would have to fire that GM.

The tax payers should evict Loria after agreeing to field a major league team with a qualified ML owner. Loria mis led the tax payers on both counts.

any team looking for a new stadium, and asking tax payers to foot bill, the tax ayersshould demand that owners must ante up with 50 % of stadium funding. If owners refuse than taxpayers should refuse to fund any of stadium. If owners have to put in 50% the owners have more of an incentive to field a competitive team to keep attendance up to recoup the money put into stadium.
