'Tebow, Why Not?' banner hangs over Jags

07:08 AM ET 09.30 | How much worse can it get in Jacksonville -- and, so, why not sign Tim Tebow? That's a question some Jaguars fans keep asking, as the team was embarrassed once again Sunday afternoon. ... As the losses pile up, an ardent group of Jaguars fans is asking once again for the team to sign none other than former Jets quarterback Tim Tebow. A supporters group called "Jags-Tebow Why Not?" was presumably responsible for a banner that flew over EverBank Field during another Jaguars loss Sunday which said "Tebow, Why Not?" This is the same group that attempted to hold a rally on Sept. 16 at 3:16 p.m. outside the stadium imploring the team to sign Tebow, who was released by the Patriots before the season after spending training camp with them. The rally, however, only drew 15 people.

To be fair, the Jaguars only have around 15 fans so... I think they were all there.

It would appear that the Jags are in need of a bit of divine interverntion.

Oh, ...............

I just don't have the energy anymore.

Yeah, this is looking like a lost season for the NFC East fans.

I don't see that coming. Not from any source.

Division winner = 7-9

Is this possibly the worst team ever?

4 weeks. 4 teams. 4 wins, and two of those were inside the division so somebody had to win.

Might as well.......who knows maybe he could lead them to the promise land like Mose's did....

I suggested that in the year Tebow was drafted that he go to a Florida team, Miami, T.B. or Jax , someplace where he would be so loved by the fans that they would be more forgiving of his play.

THe guy keeps bouncing around to every place he is not welcome by the fans, JaX would be a good final resting spot for him.

Tebow would only raise expectations of a few fans... and no good can come of that in Jacksonville

I don't agree I do believe this team could win some games with Tebow but I don't believe you win a championship with tebow, but then again as a jags fan i'd love to see some wins (just not this year #1 pick yo) and eventually it would be really nice to see them in the playoffs again

Is it technically possible to win the division and make the playoffs at 3 - 13?

The stench of losing is what hangs over the Jags.
