07:35 PM ET 10.02 | It has been a rough two weeks for Tim Kennedy. The opportunity to fight Lyoto Machida slipped through his fingers and ever since, he has been poking fun and prodding basically every UFC Middleweight in hopes to get someone to step up. Earlier today his wish was granted. The UFC confirmed that Rafael Natal has agreed to step into the main event at UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for The Troops 3 in a five-round fight on Nov. 6. Natal is coming off an electrifying performance over Sweden's Tor Troeng, in which fans were treated to arguably the best jiu-jitsu display of the year. "Sapo" was slated to fight Ed Herman at UFC 167, but was more than eager to jump into the main event slot. Kennedy on the other hand recently won a lackluster decision over Roger Gracie at UFC 162, that sent the Brazilian out of the UFC.
