07:11 AM ET 10.03 | Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin, having played at Stanford with Andrew Luck, certainly has some familiarity with the Colts quarterback. [Baldwin] believes Luck can become the best quarterback ever. "I'm on the record as saying Andrew Luck can be the greatest quarterback who ever played the game of football," Baldwin said Wednesday. "I've seen him do some unbelievable things that I still can't believe a quarterback was able to do. I have tremendous respect for that guy." Luck also has the utmost respect for Baldwin. The Colts host the Seahawks on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. "I always admired Doug's work ethic and his football smarts," Luck said Wednesday. "I remember Doug's last year at Stanford really developing a good rapport with him."

There's a old story about a great King, who asked his Philosopher for a statement he could make anytime, anywhere, and it would always be true. The Philosopher's answer was "This, too, shall pass."

But "Blaine Gabbert will still suck" probably qualifies, too.

Manning,Montana,Unitis hard to compare QB'S from the old days to today since it was a different game.......Don't think these QB's today could of played back then like they do today.....back then you where alowed to smash the QB with out getting a flag thrown.

The best ever is in Denver, season-wise anyway

And commercial wise. Only NFL person to do it better than him is John Clayton
