07:26 AM ET 10.03 | The years, apparently, haven't mellowed Patrick Roy, who in his first NHL game behind the bench displayed some of the fire he showed as one of the best goaltenders to play the game. A scrum broke out as the 6-1 game ended and Roy began jawing at Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau. Roy shoved the glass partition once, then again before Ducks players shoved it back. Roy was escorted away but was given 12 penalty minutes. ... [Roy] added that he put his fourth line on the ice for the final shift because Boudreau did the same. Boudreau was none too pleased with Roy. [According to @AnaheimDucks:] #NHLDucks Boudreau on the end of the game: "A coach has no right to start yapping at players. I told him it's bush league." #ANAvsCOL. ... Roy's tenure as NHL coach certainly will be interesting.

Heh Heh Heh...

If nothing else - the Avs should be an entertaining watch.

Well who didn't see this coming? It might pump up his team, but if it is a nightly thing, it will become a distraction.

Maybe that's his chief aim to deflect attention away from his young team.

You just know it's going to be fun when Bruce Boudreau is the voice of calm.

Hey now. Bruce has always been the voice of reason and calm. Just got back from an off season in a Buddhist monastery in Tibet. Ommmmmm......................

His act will wear thin soon enough. Meanwhile, he might deflect some of the media attention off of "Three Fingers."

"Three Fingers" makes his living yapping at players .... especially his star players. ;-)

A total overreaction. Roy just wanted to know where he could get a beer and a sandwich after the game. Vernon misunderstood.
