This is another "detail" that make me believe McNamee over Clemens.

While it is boring to go over more details "that sound very stupid as in this case", I think one way to know that a person is closer to the truth is by looking at the details of his story.

McNamee sounds too confident. Short answers, more details, higher confidence .... while Clemens uses lengthier incoherent answers with little details.

And Clemens didn't come to the Bronx until 1999 where he was a loser and road Jeter, O'Neill, Brosius and Tino's coat tails to a WS ring. So thoe first 3 years of the dynasty I'd say are legit. As for 2000 maybe maybe not. Then again you ready to put an * on all 3 Patriots championships?
