08:08 PM ET 10.03 | An important heavyweight matchup between Alistair Overeem and former champion Frank Mir was scheduled for the UFC 167 main card as the promotion celebrates their 20th anniversary, but it was announced today that the bout would be delayed by a few months and moved to the UFC 169 fight card in February on Super Bowl weekend. Because of some issues with Mir's health, the bout was forced to be delayed and will now bolster the event headlined by a light heavyweight contest between Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira. There is no word from the UFC on how the vacant main card slot on the pay-per view will be filled, but the possibility would be elevating the lightweight matchup between Donald Cerrone and Evan Dunham from the prelims.
