Iffy lineup for Bulls' preseason opener

07:19 AM ET 10.04 | Derrick Rose is back, of course, but question marks remain on the Bulls' roster. [The Bulls] might be limping into their preseason opener Saturday against the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis. Coach Tom Thibodeau wouldn't say Thursday whether center Joakim Noah and guard Kirk Hinrich would play against the Pacers. Both missed practice again. They also were held out of practice Wednesday, and the Bulls had Tuesday off. Thibodeau stressed that it's just precautionary with both players and that the slippery floor at the Berto Center played a part. "I want to make sure they are completely healthy," Thibodeau said. "We will see where they are [Friday]; they were a lot better [Thursday]. The floor was really slippery, so I didn't want them to go because of that."

It's preseason bro - Have D.Rose bring his momma on the court if they are missing bodies... She plays hell of a defense...

And he would run over her to win..........

I'm not much worried by the Bulls. Last year there were little expectations that they would go far into the Post Season and so they could let it all hang out, balls to the wall. This season with D. Rose back in the line-up the expectations will grow, & with the line-up they have along with the loss of Marco & Nate (both bright spots last season), I simply don't think having Rose back will be enough. What they might do is overtax Rose to the point of re-injury & that will spell the end of their season.

Heck, the Bulls may be the 2nd best team in their own division and an argument can be made if they are 3rd or 4th best in the East.

Miami stands tall at #1, but it is a close race between Indy, Chicago and Brooklyn for 2,3 and 4.

Coach Thibs is the kind of guy that will wear his guys down because he plays them hard.

If you don't play hard, then just don't play.

not good

D.Rose = 13 points in 20 minutes of play.

Played very well; very explosive.....not at all like he used to play (LMBO)........

He had 4 turnovers, nut that was to be expected.

That's a pretty all-around boneheaded comment.

Your premise boils down to D.Rose (and the "pressure" to win that he brings) < Marco & Nate
